The equipment for making laptop skins requires much more than just a bubble jet printer. A specialized printer is required to print on vinyl sheets with an adhesive backing. Laptop skins and notebook skins are like large stickers, and require special printers that can handle the large vinyl sheets (up to 4 feet wide) and also the special inks for printing on vinyl.
