Creating your own 17 inch laptop skin is not much different than making a custom laptop skin for any other size. When making a 17 inch laptop skin, the standard size to use is 17 inches by 12 inches. This would be 3400 pixels by 2400 pixels in a graphics program as you allow 200 pixels per inch. Also keep in mind to make the resolution 200 dpi so you have decent sharpness so your skin looks good.

Pink laptop skins are easy to create even if you are not familiar with using a graphics program like Photoshop. The first thing you do is create a new document (File > New) and enter your dimensions and resolution. Your height and width should be 200 pixels for each inch, so if you’re working on creating a 15 inch laptop skin the standard size is 15 x 11 inches. So you would make your new document 3000 pixels by 200 pixels. The standard size if making a 17 inch laptop skin is 17 inches by 12 inches, or 3400 pixels by 2400 pixels. A great tool to play with for a pink laptop skin is the gradient tool.

You can easily mod your Nintendo DS with skins that take it from boring to cool in seconds.
Nintendo DS lite is a great little handheld, but kinda dull without a skin. Why settle for boring?
